Since December 1, 2011, sms&park, Germany’s most successful mobile payment system for parking ist available in Berlin. Pankow, part of which is the hot and trendy area Prenzlauer Berg, has taken the lead when it comes to effectively increasing the services for its citizens. While the rest of Berlin only offers mobile parking which requires a previous registration and the disclosure of personal data to the provider, Pankow wants to be different and opted for the introduction of sms&park.
